Explore the beautiful photographic process of cyanotype printing. Cyanotype is one of the oldest photographic processes. It uses non-toxic chemicals and sunlight to create beautiful, bright, indigo blue prints. 

In the workshop, we will explore various techniques to create unique compositions for our cyanotype prints including:T

- drawing/writing on transparent sheetsh

- printing photographs on transparent sheets

- layering objects of different opacities

- using pressed natural materials/flowers/leaves

- cutting out/collaging forms

All participants will make multiple cyanotype prints on paper and fabric. As added inspiration, we will explore the theme of memory and personal archives to create beautiful and unique artworks through the process of cyanotype printing. All supplies are included. Participants are encouraged to bring small objects tied to memory and/or digital/printed photographs.
