Puppet Making

Do objects, toys or scraps of material take on personalities when you pick them up and interact with them? Do they come alive with stories and whole worlds once you get going? If so, you might really love the art of puppet building and puppeteering. Bring an assortment of recyclable materials and your wildest ideas and let’s learn how to combine them into amazing works of art that can tell stories.

Collect some plastic bottles, cardboard boxes and tubes, styrofoam from packaging, unwanted clothing, broken things, etc! Come with ideas you’ve been working on or just your excitement to build wacky new people and creatures. Let’s cut, glue, sew, sculpt and do some problem solving and invention together!
